Spring Semester at BYU

I just finished another semester at BYU and boy does it feel good!

Here is an awesome cactus that my sweet Aunt Heather presented me with as my "house warming" gift...or should I say in my case, "apartment warming" gift. It is sitting happily on my balcony soaking in the warm Utah sun.

Daddy Daughter Date!

Well today is Fathers Day and I can proudly say that I have the best DAD in the world. He has been a constant support and cheerleader to me during some challenging times in my life. He is someone who I look up to and am proud to call my father. Here are some pictures of a Daddy Daughter Date we had recently. I am looking forward to many more of these fun times in the future with my Dad!

Back in Cali!

Hello All! I know I am a terrible blogger because I tend to post something like once in a blue moon. But my goal for the next month now that I am back home in cali on a break from college, is to post something everyday. So hopefully I can update you on whats been going on in my life. About five months back, I left Cali to go to college at BYU Provo. I had such an awesome time! I had a great school schedule filled with fun classes such as Gynmastics, jazz dance, music, and religion classes. I do admit they weren't fun 100% of the time but overall I enjoyed attending each and everyone of them. I also lived in a brand new apartment complex with only 1 other girl! So it seemed like I basically had my own apartment. And if you know me well, you know I like to have my own things that are nice, new, and clean. I am somewhat of a perfectionist. So here are some pictures of me enjoying college life in Provo, Utah!

Cooking with Mama!

Good Saturday Morning everyone! Last night I went to bed exhausted from cooking all night with my mom. She decided to make a bunch of meals to freeze in the freezer so she wouldn't have to cook every night but have something ready to go. I helped her make homemade lasagna and enchiladas. At first I was less then thrilled to help put together lasagna and enchiladas together...but to my surprise, I actually enjoyed assembling together the layers of huge pasta noodles, meat sauce, and cheese together. Plus, it really was a nice bonding time with my mom. Unfortunatly, we both smelled of green onion after....lol.

Starting Again

Well it sure has been a long time since I have written in my blog and I thought it was about time to do so. I read and enjoy other peoples blogs daily but never got around to writing in my own. So here it goes. I am 20 years old now and plan on going to BYU-I this winter after I spent a couple months getting my life back on track. I am excited to start a new chapter in my life and am willing to work hard to get there. Recently I have had a lot of medical complications that have taken awhile to fix. I had an terrible ulcer, 3 GI bleeds, 3 blood infections, and a clot in my liver. Heavenly Father has saved my life and blessed me so much because my ulcer is gone, the blood infections are gone, and now the clott in my liver is gone! I see this as a miracle and I am finally starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel. Now I am working on getting strong again so I can move on with my life. I am tired of missing out on all life has to offer and I will not let those moments slip by anymore!
